PRBSA MINOR LEAGUE PROGRAM (9-10)

Minor League- (9-10) This is a competitive league for 9 and 10 year old boys. It will build upon what the kids have learned in the manager pitch league and introduce them to kid pitching, base stealing and bunting. The season will begin with a series of instructional practices throughout the month of April. They will be coached on fundamental skills such as base running, fielding, throwing, pitching and positional play. Learning good sportsmanship and having fun will also be important goals of this league.

Parents can expect two scheduled practices a week in April depending on weather. Beginning in May, the schedule will include 2 weekly games and a practice. This will last through the last week of June, when an end-of-season single elimination tournament will be held. Standings and scores will be posted to the PRBSA website. All games and practices will be held at Richland Park, fields 1 and 3, and also at the Wexford Elementary fields.
